LANGUAGE RESOURCES
There is a huge gap that still needs to be filled in the language curriculum of primary and secondary schools in Nigeria. For indigenous and foreign languages to be well taught, language teachers need relevant teaching aids and resource materials that children can relate to.
About Project Lingo
In my line of work as a German language teacher, I have noticed a lack of language resource materials for young learners in Nigeria and have come to a conclusion that the Educational sector in Nigeria hasn’t been exploring the concept of globalization- in relation to language learning enough.
To solve this problem, I came up with “PROJECTLINGO” to work hand in hand with language teachers and enthusiasts in Africa and beyond to create language resources for young learners.
